Registration will be open soon for the upcoming edition of the Green Deal Biotechnology Conference, organized by the EFB Environmental Biotechnology Division. The event will be held from 26-28 May 2025, in Aveiro, Portugal. This conference will cover a broad range of topics, including:
  • Innovative solutions in soil bioremediation and wastewater treatment
  • Biotechnological valorization of marine and other natural resources
  • Sustainanility of environmental biotechnology solutions
  • Biotechnological approaches to nutrient cycling balances
  • Stepping-up biotechnological approaches via industrial symbiosis
  • AI and genome editing - friends or foes in environmental biotechnology?
The program will include keynote lectures by leading scientists will be complemented by invited talks and shorter talks selected from submitted abstracts, as well as flash poster presentations and poster presentations.

The EFB Biobased Materials Division invites you to participate in the upcoming European Workshop on Biotechnology: Biobased Materials, a 4-day event set at the HES-SO Valais in the beautiful Swiss city of Sion in the middle of the Swiss Alps on 20-23 January 2025. Designed for a small group of up to 20 participants, the workshop will feature a blend of expert-led lectures and hands-on lab activities, focusing on cutting-edge biobased materials.
You’ll have the opportunity to learn from world-class speakers and instructors, with the registration fee covering coffee breaks, lunches, and a workshop dinner.
