Towards a circular bioeconomy: progress and bottlenecks
Abstract submission deadline has been extended until 23 March 2023.
Registrations will close on March 27, 2023.

Registration and abstract submission are now open for the Green Deal Biotechnology meeting (November 6-8, 2023).
The scientific programme will include 7 sessions:
Antibiotics and micropollutants in the environment
Nanotechnology in environmental biotechnology
Bioelectrochemistry for energy and water recovery
Marine biotechnology
Recovery of resources, including rare resources and novel bio-based value chains
Healthy soil and food
Wastewater treatment
In addition, the conference will feature a session on "European policy for the circular bioeconomy, food security and the environment".

The 6th meeting on Microbial Responses to Stress on September 18-21, 2023 is open for registration with an abstract deadline on May 30, 2023. The meeting is generously supported by FEMS and meeting grants for Early Career Scientists (PhD, PostDoc) are available. Speakers and session topics are listed on the updated meeting website.
In advance of the conference, the COST action EuroMicropH will hold an open meeting on Monday, September 18, at the same venue.

For those interested in the Physiology, genetics, evolution and biotechnology of Yeast and Filamentous Fungi (PYFF), there are just two weeks left until the PYFF8 early bird deadline on March 28, 2023. This is also the final chance to have an abstract considered for oral presentation or to apply for a FEMS bursary. PYFF8 in Cork, Ireland on June 5-8, 2023 has an exciting and diverse programme with a strong line up of international speakers so please check it out!

Healthy soils lay the groundwork for a functioning society, environment, economy, and climate.
Submit your abstract for a 20 min talk or short workshop input in:

Today’s challenges to soil health
Workshop: Soil health, from practical issues to indicators
