Green Biopharma Meeting 2023
REGISTRATION IS NOW OPEN!
Green Biopharmaceuticals: Molecular Farming in Plants, Moss, and Algae

A joint conference of the EFB Biopharmaceutical and Medical Biotechnology Division, the EFB Plant, Agriculture and Food Division and the International Society for Plant Molecular Farming (ISPMF) will address the topics:
  • Molecular and cellular advances for non-protein biopharmaceuticals
  • Molecular and cellular advances for protein biopharmaceuticals
  • Production platforms
  • Products and applications
The event will take place on 13-15 November 2023 in Barcelona Spain. The conference venue is located a few steps away from Sagrada Familia, in Casa Convalescència that forms part of the complex of the Hospital de la Santa Creu i Sant Pau, one of the greatest works of Catalan Art Nouveau.

Microbial Stress Meeting 2023
BURSARIES AVAILABLE TO ASSIST WITH ATTENDANCE

A number of bursaries are available to help Early Career Scientists to attend the 6th Microbial Stress Conference. Bursaries are reserved for those who are presenting a short talk or a poster at the meeting.

Session topics include:
  • Molecular mechanisms of stress
  • Microbial stress in bioproduction systems
  • Challenges to microbial life in the natural environment: adaptation and evolution
  • Plant microbe interactions and soil microorganisms
  • Stresses associate with human-microbe interactions

The 11th Recombinant Protein Production (RPP) Conference will be held in Girona (Catalonia, Spain) from 17-19 October. Topics include:
  • Cell engineering for RPP (including large-scale genome engineering)
  • Cellular biology and physiology under RPP conditions; comparative physiology across cell factories
  • Recombinant protein smart biomanufacturing (RPP4.0)

The 16th Asian Congress on Biotechnology will be held in the Biotechnology Centre of Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam, on 15-19 October 2023. Even though there has been some disturbance due to the Covid pandemic situation, ECB and ACB will be held in alternate years.
