EppendorfProduction of Human Induced Pluripotent Stem Cell-Derived Cortical Neurospheres in the DASbox® Mini Bioreactor SystemIn basic neurobiology research and drug research, Stem cell-derived cortical neurospheres are of great interest. Cultivation in controlled, stirred-tank bioreactors can improve the homogeneity of neural spheroid cultures and allows culture scale-up. Researchers from TissUse GmbH generated Human Induced Pluripotent Stem Cell-derived neurospheres for drug research applications. They demonstrated the potential of the DASbox Mini Bioreactor for such a process.

EFB Journal New BiotechnologyImpact of temperature and pH on recombinant human IgM quality attributes and productivityIgM antibodies are arousing considerable interest as biopharmaceuticals. Despite their immunotherapeutic potential, little is known about the impact of environmental conditions on product quantity and quality of these complex molecules. Process conditions influence the critical quality attributes (CQAs) of therapeutic proteins and thus are important parameters for biological safety and efficacy. Here, the results of a systematic study are presented that characterized the influence of temperature and pH on cell-specific productivity and IgM quality attributes.
