European Healthy Soils meeting: soil fertility, agriculture, environment, climate change, chemistry, biology and microbiology, biogeochemical, crop cultivation, mycorrhizae, sustainability, organic carbon capture, fertilizers, plants biostimulants, soil erosion, biodiversity, greenhouse.


The topic Healthy Soils is a key element of the European Soil Strategy. This first edition of the European Healthy Soils Conference Series will address the relevance of healthy soils and soil fertility as prerequisite for a functioning society, environment, economy, and climate.
The 3-day conference aims to bring together soil scientists, along with stakeholders from industry, agriculture, and the public sector, to discuss the maintenance of and opportunities in healthy soils. The event is co-organized by the FHNW School of Life Sciences and Agroscope, under the umbrella of the European Federation of Biotechnology divisions of Plant, Agriculture & Food and Environmental Biotechnology.

Please be aware that by registering, you are committing to attend the conference. In case of cancellation up to July 31, 2023, you will be charged 50% of the conference fee. Starting August 1, 2023, you will be charged 100% of the conference fee. Requests for cancellation or substitution must be made in writing.

The European Healthy Soils conference invites participants from academia and industry to submit abstracts describing original research in one of the conference scientific topics.

VENUE

The European Healthy Soils Conference, 1st Edition, Soil Fertility will be hosted by the School of Life Sciences at the FHNW Campus Muttenz.
Muttenz is 7 minutes by train from Basel Main Station (Basel SBB) and the Campus is a 6-minute walk from the Muttenz train station.
The modern FHNW Campus Muttenz hosts the School of Architecture, Civil Engineering and Geomatics, the School of Life Sciences, the School of Education, and the School of Social Work and School of Engineering. This new state of the art building offers excellent amenities for a successful Symposium. We are looking forward to welcoming you here!
