Registration and abstract submission now open for ASBE8

The Applied Synthetic Biology Europe ASBE8 conference is now open for registration and abstract submission. The event will bring together researchers, industry professionals, and students to explore advances in synthetic biology, from fundamental research to applied innovations.

Abstract submission and deadlines

Participants are invited to submit abstracts for:

• Oral presentations
• Flash talks
• Poster presentations

Abstracts should align with the conference themes, which include:

• Factory – clean growth, bio-based chemical/materials production, alternative feedstocks C1, plastics, biogenic
• Pharma – cellular therapeutics, siagnostics, gene/base editing, biobased production of pharmaceuticals
• Farm and field – improve crops, soil augmentation, waste treatment, bioremediation, biocontainment
• Computational design technologies – proteins, circuits, systems, networks, communities and processes

The deadline for abstract submission and early registration is 19 July 2026. Submitting early ensures eligibility for early bird registration rates.
