On 30 June the Executive Board and the General Assembly meetings took place in Rotterdam, the Netherlands.
One of the outcomes of the General Assembly meeting was the election of the current EFB Vice President Francesc Gòdia as the next President of the European Federation of Biotechnology. He will officially assume office on 1 January 2025.
Both the Executive Board and the General Assembly discussed also financial matters and future strategic actions.
In addition to the presidential election, the General Assembly also elected three new members.
