EFB appoints new vice president following extraordinary board meeting
During an extraordinary meeting of the European Federation of Biotechnology (EFB) Executive Board held on 24 March, the board addressed key matters following the passing of Jeff Cole.
As part of the meeting, Paola Branduardi, Chair of the EFB Microbial Biotechnology and Professor at the University of Milano-Bicocca, Italy, was elected as the new EFB Vice President.
The board also discussed preparations for the upcoming European Congress on Biotechnology (ECB2026).
