FEBS practical and lecture course
11-16 September Stockholm, Sweden Application deadline: 15 June 2022
This course will teach state-of-the-art analysis of the human proteins with a focus on antibody-based methods, transcriptomics and mass spectrometry. Participants will have several daily lectures by experts in the field and this will be complemented with workshops in which they will annotate genes/proteins, taking part in an annotation effort with the aim to go through all experimental evidence of the respective protein and to evaluate the quality of the underlying data to score the evidence for protein profiles and functionality.

Registration is open for What’s New In Cryptosporidium? 2022
The Microbiology Society is pleased to announce that registration is open for What’s New in Cryptosporidium? The Focused Meeting will take place 4–5 July 2022 at Swansea University Bay Campus and feature a varied programme of renowned invited speakers and offered paper presenters, showcasing the latest research. The audience will hear about advances in the field, share good practice, and establish collaborations with others, across science, industry, public and environmental health and clinical and veterinary practice. Rideal Lecture 2022 and Symposium on Particles at a Range of Fluid Interfaces

This one-day symposium will feature six invited lecturers speaking about their recent research related to particles at interfaces and their applications. The meeting will conclude with a lecture from this years award winner Professor Bernard Binks speaking on his pioneering research. Overall, we aim to bring together chemists, chemical engineers and physicists interested in the fundamentals of research on particles at fluid interfaces, as well as those interested in applications across numerous industrial sectors.
