The EFB would like to thank all AcES 2021 Sponsors, specially the Tianjin Institute of Industrial Biotechnology, for this successful event. TIB, Covesto, Blucon, Novel Techsciences, Sesam Biotech, Zymvol
On 3 September during the 3rd Aachen Protein Engineering Symposium, the Tianjin Institute of Industrial Biotechnology (TIB) of the Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS) signed an agreement with RWTH Aachen University (RWTH) to establish a joint center of biotechnology. The joint center, TIB-IB RWTH Joint Center of Biotechnology (TRCBio), aims to build an exchange and collaboration platform in biotechnology to promote joint R&D and staff exchange with a focus on “robust protein development by computational and evolutionary approach” and to promote its application in the Chinese and German circular bioeconomies
We would like to thank our latest Bronze sponsors Nova Biomedical and nzytech for supporting science and making the event possible.

SCI event: RNA as a target for the life sciences

SCI Event

RNA as a target for the life sciences

RNA as a target for small molecules is a rapidly evolving topic of major relevance to modern drug discovery and agrochemical science.
Bringing together contemporary chemical biology and established small molecule research, this event is of significant interest to academics in chemistry, biology and pharmacy as well as the established pharmaceutical and agrochemical sectors.

Microbiology Society - Supporting authors with fee-free open access
The Microbiology Society is expanding its Publish and Read programme, aiming to help more researchers participate in and benefit from Open Access (OA) publishing.

The model is designed to offer a frictionless OA experience for authors, and provides maximum value for institutions, with minimum administration.

Publish and Read replaces traditional subscriptions and author fees, rolling both into one simple annual fee for institutions, covering access to all Society journals and uncapped OA publishing across all of our journals.
Royal Society of Bioeconomy: Policy lates - rethinking our food system

Kinase 2021: 9th SCI / RSC Symposium on Kinase Inhibitor Design
An online Policy Lates panel discussion exploring different landscapes associated with food, and the challenges and choices they present us with. In this event, our panel of expert speakers will discuss the complex development of food policy nationally and internationally.
