We are pleased to announce that the meeting programme is now available on the conference website and registration and abstract submission are open. PYFF8 offers an exciting programme of talks across a wide range of topics related to the evolution, genetics, physiology and application of yeasts and filamentous fungi. There will be opportunities for oral and poster presentations and we look forward to receiving your abstracts. We hope to meet you in Cork, Ireland in June 2023.

Microbial Biotechnology Division Symposium on Industrial Microbiology
|
On Wednesday 19th April 2023, the EFB Microbial Biotechnology Division is co-organising a symposium at the Microbiology Society Annual Conference in Birmingham, UK. The symposium entitled “A greener future: sustainable and scalable solutions in industrial microbiology and green pharma” will bring together experts from industry and academia with a broad range of expertise to offer insights into the future of sustainable and scalable industrial microbiology. Topic covered will include the eco-friendly synthesis and production of bio-based materials, commodities, chemicals, and active pharmaceutical ingredients.

Engineering Biology: The Next Generation

Engineering Biology is an important and fast developing technology. This one-day event focuses on innovative SME’s showcasing how engineering biological systems is allowing them to pivot and navigate a new sustainable landscape. Additionally, it will concentrate on how these SMEs develop their business, interact with larger corporations and interact with investors.

The 16th Asian Congress on Biotechnology will be held in the Biotechnology Centre of Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam, from the 15th to 19th of October, 2023. Even although there has been some disturbance due to the Covid pandemic situation, ECB and ACB will be held in alternate years.
