The 7th Conference on Physiology of Yeast and Filamentous Fungi will be held in the University of Milano-Bicocca (www.unimib.it), whose history started in 1998, when the old buildings of the Pirelli factory were turned into a state of the art complex including: extremely modern research laboratories, big study areas and common areas for students. The location of its main buildings in the northeast of the city and its proximity to the Greco Pirelli railway station make the Bicocca University very accessible by public transport from all parts of the city (Google maps).

Milan is very well-connected by air and is served by three international airports that are all connected to the city centre by public transport: Malpensa (www.milanomalpensa-airport.com)  to the north of the city, Linate (www.milanolinate-airport.com) in the city, and Bergamo (www.milanbergamoairport.it) to the east.

Favourable rates have been secured at nearby hotels that are both within walking distance of the conference venue and easily accessed by a short tram ride. Delegates should contact the hotels directly to make their own arrangements.
