3rd meeting on Applied Synthetic Biology in Europe

The Bioengineering and Bioprocessing Section EBBS and the Microbial Physiology Section are co-organising the 3rd meeting on Applied Synthetic Biology in Europe.

This is a continuation of the first (Barcelona) and second (Malaga) meetings in this series. The third meeting will be held from 22 to 24 February 2016 in Costa da Caparica, Lisbon - Portugal. The meeting will again focus on the application of synthetic biology tools, techniques and methods for development and optimisation of biological processes.

With costs in Europe rising by 25% in 2015 alone, it is no wonder that politicians have made this a priority area for development and funding. This lecture will explore the potential for Big Data to provide efficient methods of delivering new drugs to combat Dementia, in particular Alzheimer”s disease
